About This Training Center
ITPS Advanced Simulation Centre in London, Ontario represents the pinnacle of flight test training excellence, strategically located at London International Airport (CYXU). This world-class facility houses advanced flight simulation technology including the Boeing 787 Level D full flight simulator, providing comprehensive type rating and differences training for commercial aviation professionals.
The London facility benefits from an exceptional air traffic environment with dedicated test areas Delta and Juliet - a low altitude area to 12,000 feet and a high altitude area over Lake Huron up to FL350. Located outside the Toronto FIR with large sections of Class E and G airspace, the facility minimizes transit times for flight exercises. The center offers instructor courses and specialized differences training, supported by ITPS's team of over 30 full-time flight test instructors.
As part of ITPS's comprehensive training ecosystem, the Advanced Simulation Centre integrates cutting-edge simulation technology with real-world flight test operations. The facility supports both civilian and military training programs, utilizing modern avionics, head-up display technology, and advanced simulation systems to enhance training effectiveness for pilots and flight test engineers from around the world.

About ITPS Canada
The International Test Pilots School (ITPS) stands as the world's largest independent school of experimental flight testing, providing world-class education to pilots and engineers from over 25 air forces and civilian organizations. Established in the UK in 1986 and relocated to London International Airport (CYXU) in Ontario, Canada in 2001, ITPS has built an exceptional reputation for delivering specialized flight test training programs.
ITPS operates a remarkable fleet of 28 aircraft including 16 jet trainers, three transonic fighters, business jets, and helicopters, complemented by advanced flight simulators including Boeing 787, F-35, F/A-18E, F-16C, AH-64 Apache, and AW139 units. The school's diverse aircraft inventory features Hawker Hunter T.7 fighters, Aero Vodochody L-39 and L-29 jets, Bombardier Challenger and Embraer Phenom business jets, plus various helicopter models.
As an EASA-approved training organization (ATO), ITPS provides both fixed and rotary wing Category 1 and Category 2 flight test instruction. The school is recognized by the Society of Experimental Test Pilots (SETP) and Society of Flight Test Engineers (SFTE), offering Master of Science programs in Flight Test Engineering. ITPS serves civilian industry and military customers with customized training programs ranging from 2-week specialized courses to comprehensive 48-week Masters Level programs, utilizing cutting-edge simulation, virtual reality, and mixed-reality technologies.
