The Delta Aircrew Training Center (DATC) in Atlanta serves as DPS's flagship facility and represents one of the most comprehensive airline training centers globally. Located on the Delta Air Lines campus in Atlanta, this FAA Part 142 certified facility houses an impressive fleet of Level D full flight simulators covering nine different commercial aircraft types, making it one of the most diverse training environments in the aviation industry.
The facility features advanced Level D simulators for the complete range of Delta's fleet including the Airbus A220, A320, A330, and A350, as well as Boeing 717, 737NG, 737 MAX, 757, and 767 aircraft. Each simulator provides the highest level of motion, visual, and aircraft system fidelity for realistic training scenarios. DATC offers initial type rating courses, recurrent training, and pilot proficiency checks, along with hosting the premier FAA-certified ATP-CTP program that has trained thousands of aspiring airline pilots since 2016.
The Atlanta facility provides pilots with an authentic airline training environment and behind-the-scenes access to Delta's operations that is not available to the public.
